Malaga is the easiest airport to find flights to and from, on any given day there are up to 25 different direct flights from UK airports alone to Malaga. The airport is less than an hours drive from La Herradura. Leaving the airport initially follow signs for Malaga E15/N340, then look out for a sign for Motril/Almeria E15/N340 take this road and simply follow the E15/N340 east all the way to the La Herradura turn off.

Monarch and Ryanair fly into Granada from various UK airports. The drive between La Herradura and Granada should take just over an hour and the easiest driving directions are simply to follow the main road, the E902/N323, which runs south between Granada and the Coast. The E902/N323 joins the coast road the N340/E15, head west along the N340/E15 following signs for Almunecar and then on to La Herradura.

A 3rd airport that you could fly into is Almeria which is starting to offer more and more low cost flights from the UK. The distance between Almeria and La Herradura is the main stumbling block with this route as it will take you around 2 hours to drive the 140 kms.
